Tatting

My joints have been sore recently so I have been doing more tatting - it is light in weight and easy. Here is a one shuttle (rings only) piece in progress.

I'm tired or the rain!

This is the view from my window. As usual it is raining. The lime trees started to come into leaf in the warm weather we had in March. Normally they go from a few leaves to full coverage in just a day or two, but it is so cold and wet this month that they have been stuck at this stage for weeks.



Rain!

We are enduring a very wet month or two here so I am unable to set foot in the garden. These primulas are outside my study window - at least they are enjoying the wet!

Shawl progress

This is the silk/camel yarn and it is gorgeous. The pattern is Hibiscus Rose.

Tatted mat - finished

The pattern for this came from the internet and I am not entirely happy with the last round - which is a little too full to block perfectly. But I remind myself that no one else is likely to know what bothers me about it!

I made a space

for something on the shelf above my desk. But somehow I don't think I am ever going to be able to use that space for what I intended as Sunny has decided she loves it!
