Japanese acers

The Japanese maples at the end of our garden are particularly colourful this year. They are about twenty years old now and I actually grew them from seed. We had a bigger garden and a greenhouse back then, but when we moved  a few years later we brought them with us. They grow surprisingly quickly, especially after the first ten years, and they are not difficult to grow from seed.
