Not sure

This is something I planted a couple of years ago - clearly a herbaceous perennial. I have no idea what it is, but it is pretty and is thriving in a particularly dry, dark corner.

Bluebells

These are sneered at in the UK as they are Spanish bluebells and not our native kind. But they were here when we moved in 20 years ago and no power on earth is going to get rid of them, so here they stay. They are pretty anyway. I'll have to whisper it, but I grew up with our native bluebells and I actually like these better!

Lily of the valley

It is lily of the valley time again this year.

Sunny

As you can see, Sunny likes sunshine!

Sunshine!

At last this month's cold, grey and miserable weather has backed off enough to give us sunshine. I even got my laundry dry in the garden.

Clematis

The white clematis looks beautiful with the variegated euonymus.

A new hobby

I have decided to try to teach myself supported spinning and here are my new spindles with their bowls. I am still at the stage of getting the spindle to spin reliably just by itself - fingers crossed I get beyond that stage soon!
