It was a warmish day today so Sunny and I went out in the garden. She is noticeably stronger and faster now. Yesterday she played hide-and-seek with Ginger until she drove him to complete exhaustion. Then she carried on playing by herself for another couple of hours. I am always entertained by the bushes shaking as she moves through them -and glad I don't have bedding plants!
Sunny went to the vet for her second lot of jabs. The vet commented how good she was, not making any fuss, but he had one problem. He was trying to listen to her heart - only she just wouldn't stop purring! At least it made a nice change from his usual problems of being yowled at, scratched and bitten!

One of my cats does the same thing, purring as soon as the vet touches him. My vet then presses gently against his "purring spot" in the front of the neck, and that usually does the trick, just long enough to listen to his heart.
